The subject will be evaluated in both assessment periods through the following assessment activities:
Submission of individual exercises using the MultiEval application at the end of Modules 3 and 4. The maximum total value of the submissions is 2 points (1 point each submission).
Active participation in classes through group activities proposed by the professor. The maximum total value of these activities will be 1 point.
Global examination (maximum score of 10 points): an exam that will be held on the dates specified in the center's approved calendar and will contain theoretical questions (4 points through 20 multiple-choice questions) and practical questions (6 points through several numerical problems). It is required to obtain at least 1/3 of the score in each of the two parts of the exam (theory and practice).
In both assessment periods, the final grade will be the higher of:
• 100% of the score obtained in the global examination (out of 10 points).
• 70% of the score obtained in the global examination (out of 10 points), plus the score from the MultiEval exercises (maximum 2 points), plus the score obtained through active participation in classes through group activities (maximum 1 point).
If the minimum of 1/3 of the score in each part of the exam is not reached, the score obtained in the MultiEval exercises and class activities will not be considered as part of the overall grade for the subject, and in no case can the overall grade exceed 4.9.
